cak36 Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I have been seeing a lady who came out of a verbally abusive relationship that she said the man was mean to her.We flirted almost a year and she finally asked me to go out.Everything went great for a few months and all of the sudden her ex came back and she said she wasn't over him. I even met her family over the fourth of july and it went great.When she told me she was not over him she said she would still like to be friends and maybe we could still go out to a movie or something. I know she still has feelings because I still see her almost every day and caught her once and when she heard my voice her head snapped around to see me and made eye contact and smiled.I just hope someone has some advice because she is really so sweet and confused I don't think she realizes what she could be giving up.For now I'm not pressuring her and am always upbeat and happy when I talk to her.She did tell me when we broke up that a lot of people were going to be upset with her for this.....I think she meant her family and friends.If anyone has any experience or advice I would appreciate it.
