You know..for some reason, I think African American guys can get away with dressing certain ways that white guys simply can't. Like a lot of those clothes look cool on those guys but if you put a white guy in it, it would look like he was trying too hard.

Not at all. I see men of all ethnic groups dressed like that occasionally. The only thing to be cognizant of is picking colors that work with your skin tone. After that, it is all good. :D

(**I purposely chose a lot of black men, only because people seem to think black men don't dress like that.)

See, I would've never thought to try and create outfits like that because I would think they don't match... I think I'm taking a girl to go shopping with me next time. I feel a bit behind.:o

Take me take me! Not that I really have a clue about style, but dressing up a cutie sounds like fun.

First definitely would be shirt..... But on another note, shoes are very important because (imo) they could either make or break an outfit.

Just saying.

:D

I remember a tv program in which street walkers used how expensive a man's shoes looked to determine if he was a good target to rob.

So you would notice male models wearing tailored clothing?

Because most guys wouldn't look that good in those clothes I think that's fair to state. They couldn't afford them either.

Sorry, I don't get to take pics of regular joes wearing clothes. Some of those were actually regular joes actually (that pick of like 20 people, all regular joes).

I notice anyone dressed like that. Not just models. Sadly, it happens a lot more in locations outside of my metro area, so people "dressed" up like that are pretty rare where I live. ;)

Lots of casual people where I live, and I couldn't think of an appropriate image search to get the "right" casual look.

The deal is, I find a lot of men are afraid to break out of their look. Let's say, t-shirts, jeans and tennis shoes. But it is really a matter of getting better fitting ones (for your body type) to step up your style game. Not everything is expensive either.

A friend grabbed a similar tailored suit at H&M. He was really excited to get a cheap deal on a cool outfit. :) Wore his suit with "street" sneakers. :D

You can find the right stuff at Target, Marshalls, TJ MAxx, Nordstrom Rack etc. No one has to have a big budget to dress nice.

Good!

I think SOME sneakers can look great in the right situation. Not the dirty ones you wear to the gym. The "hip" and "sleek" ones.

One of the best dressed people at my prom was a guy who was wearing his purple tux....with shiny converse. It totally worked with his personality. Contrasts can work well, but not everyone can pull it off with panache.
