superman2be Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Hi Everyone. I hope you can help I have been involved with a woman in some way or form for over 2 years. The fist time i dated her ( for about 8 months ) it ended as she told me she wants to get married and needed some commitment. At this point i didnt know if i was ready or even if she was the right girl. Essentially that ended , we broke up and I didnt contact her . She did contact me 3 months later and we hooked up again , she asked again for a commitment, i ran away from it again . 3 months passed and she contacted me again , we hooked up and ever since its been this really wierd casual thing . Very emotionally and sexually involved. She would come over , go to coffee , ice cream late at night , dinners movies etc. I really got to know her without the pressure. I really started to see myself with her long term. This has been going on for 6 months now. So i said to her the other day, wheres this all going ... were in our early and mid thirties and i felt its either we make a go of it or not . Wasting time on a casual relationship causes more issues than prevents. She said that i tick all the boxes but cant let me into her heart. And that she doesnt think ill be happy with her. She cant explain it , but cant let me in. She feels we have a connection and cant think of life without me. I explained to her that ill do everything in my power to make it work and make her feel confortable. This did not help. SHe is one of those arty/hippy chicks that needs to feel stuff lol. I feel shes scared of it not working out ( dont blame her ).... At this point i really had the ****s, and i said well thats that, its over , dont contact me again. We need to find people that do it for us. Ive left it at that with her .... what do you think . I feel like ive dont the righ thing. Let me know S
