KansasChica Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I just woke up and find myself missing my ex this morning... a lot. It's now been close to 10 months since we broke up and I thought I was doing so well. But I just remember last year this time- how we would snuggle in bed, take a walk on a brisk morning, go get coffee, etc. and I'm just sad. I'm so ready for these feelings to be over!
fallenheart Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I know exactly how you feel. It's been almost a year for me and I am so sick of being alone all the time I can't stand it. I used to look forward to weekends and now they feel like prison sentences instead of the wonderful escapes they used to be. When will it get better? It probably won't. Unless you find someone new. I've tried, but here I am a year later and still alone.
stemac Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Hate weekends too, it's my Exs weekend off She would have been here at my place now at this Time, it's been 6 or 7 weeks and having Really bad time, So my heart goes out too you both, it's a Very Lonely feeling.
Sameold Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Guys weekends can be your friends! Go out with your mates, get drunk, go watch the football. Go for a jog, the gym, go shopping and buy a new gadget or decorate your house... Weekends should be about you. Remember if in the week you work then you need your weekends for you, to grow again and get to a happy place. Hell I'm struggling and I've had a huge set back recently since hearing my ex is now with the guy that was messaging her and she denied seeing during our BU but tomorrow I am volunteering, then I am off for a run... If I wasn't busy doing that I would be watching my local footy team. Do fun things! Where are your friends?
Mr Scorpio Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Do fun things! Where are your friends? With their wives or GFs. 1
Hobbit Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I have mixed feeling about the weekends, I get to see my kids but I have to stay at my old house with them (and although it kills me inside to be back there, I just have to man up because its not just about me) Gonna be much easier once Ive found a place to call my own again. I think once that happens I'll start to feel much much better
