My ex girlfriend is giving subtle hints...dont know what to do????

same old story.....have barely talked this summer off and on.....when we broke up i tried getting back with her to no avail..just got hurt more with that on and off crap.....now that were home we havent spoken but the times we have shes told me that she either misses me, thinks about me still, wears my ring i gave her everyday and that it reminds her of me, or tells my best friend that her and i will "eventually" get back together.....what do i make of all this....it sounds to me that she might want to get back together, and i know allowing her to make the first move is best, but what if shes waiting for me to do something...keep in mind she broke up with me..out of th eblue..together for 2 years.....i mean she says this stuff, and i know she flirts with other guys and crap at parties the times i have seen her out this summer...were not going back to the same schools next year and will be about 600 miles apart, but i feel like this is my one true love, should i say something and risk getting hurt again if what she has been telling me and my friend is really just hot air or should i just sit back and let things play out????????????

why would u say something? u did say something, she knows u love her, if she wants u back she needs to come to your face and tell you. she hurt you!!

my bf broke up with me and he knows i love him but theres no way ill ever start the communication or anything (no contact for a week already:( )...its all up to him now even tho i proabbably wont let him back in...once they hurt u...it usually keeps happening unless u make them realize they need to stop messing with ure feelings, dont wait around for her, just keep doing ure thing, if she misses u,...let her come up to u...trust me if she really does want u back she will come to ure place and let u know, and if she doesnt then maybe shes just i dunno....

and if she does come around dont give in so easily..dont have sex or kiss her that same day, make her suffer a lil and see that she cant get the whole cake that same day..cuz then trust me!! she will feel like she can break ure heart anytime and come back around and u will always be so open to her..it sux! bes trong p/s/ i was with my bf for 3.5 years:( n he did this to me alot...

I think you need to decide what you really want. Once you know the end point, it's easier to draw the dots in between. If you truly want to spent your life with this girl, why not just go for it? Start slowly. If you don't then you'll always wonder what if. Yeah you may get hurt, but it can't be worse than what you've already gone through.
