Mr. Savage Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Why are men much more attentive to an attractive woman in emotional duress? Is this white knight syndrome?
Crusoe Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 No, it's going in for the kill when your prey is at its weakest. And that's called "nasty little c*nt syndrome". 3
Titanwolf Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Ze halo effect. Certainly, the attractive woman is too good of a person to be suffering like any old person and she must be helped immediately!. White knights! Assemble!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And of course, the fact that they think "Maybe if I help her, she'll reward me with sex". Men can be so pathetic at times. 5
Dusk1983 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 And that's called "nasty little c*nt syndrome". I like to swing between "distressed white knite" and "nasty little c*nt". Works for me.
Crusoe Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I like to swing between "distressed white knite" and "nasty little c*nt". Works for me. Nowadays I tend to swing between apathy and contempt. 1

ThaWholigan Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 The halo effect is a real phenomenon that people aren't aware of actually. Attractive people may not hold the monopoly, but they tend to attract more people who are willing to supplicate them. Some guys though are simply too helpful for their own good.
amaysngrace Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I personally don't like it when guys try to help me. Unless they're holding a door or something. But it makes me feel awkward otherwise. Like I'm stupid or something.
Negative Nancy Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Yes, it's pathetic how men go out of their way and almost trip over their own feet to hold the door open for attractive women, yet would run the other way if a fat ugly chick was in need of REAL help. Men are such shallow creatures, it's nauseating.
