hey guys, i could really use your help, i'm so confused!!

I went to a party last night and my ex was there. We dated for 8 months and he broke up with me bout 6 months ago. When he was breaking up with me he said that he still likes me but its just something hes gotta do for himself...

Anyway, after we broke up we had a few casual nights together but didn't get back together. To be precise, everytime we are at the same place together... something will happen between us. I don't think theres one single time that we've gone home with nothing having happened (ie - kissing, holding hands etc).

I still have strong feelings for him because he was my first love.

Ok so this is what happened last night -

**First off he asked me if i had a boyfriend, then i constantly could see him looking at me in the corner of my eye. He would also ask me up to dance and be holding hands with me and pulling me closer to him. YET nothing else happened... like we didn't make out or anything. It was sorta unusual because he is so confident in himself and never has a problem making the moves, yet last night he was really cautious. I'm not sure if its because he didn't know what i wanted, or because of the history, or if he just isn't interested and i read all the signs wrong?!

Help! i would like to get back with him and i start over. Since we've broken up i've learnt a lot and matured a lot and i think we could really make it work this time... but i don't know whats going on inside his head? and i'm sorta too afraid to ask him.... argh :S

Please help!

confusedmind,

wow, pretty similiar to my situation. I can't seem to win over my ex either. we, too, have sahred nghts since the break and were transported to ome of the best times in our relatnshp, but it always ends the following day with a "good-bye 'til next time". can't give u any advice other then what i've gotten thus far--let it go and wait it out. if the connection is still there, then there still hope. thats the way I look at it. good luck, hope it all works out for you.
