When to text again?

Met this girl several weeks ago. After a few weeks of texting back and forth, we had our first date last Thursday. It was a double date with one of her friends and one of my friends. We hooked up that night.

 

I texted her on Saturday, essentially saying that I enjoyed getting to know her and thought we should hang out this week. She texted back immediately, saying she agreed and we had a short convo.

 

I texted her last night, "Are you going to be a cheap date again? ." And she has yet to respond. How long should I wait to text again?

Was the "cheap date" comment an inside joke that the two of you had on your Thursday date, or did you text that out of the blue?

Inside joke...she essentially declined dinner on thursday and the date cost me next to nothing. we joked about it thursday.

Maybe she thought cheap referred to the "hooking up". Honestly if a guy text me that I don't think I would like it even if you meant cheap as in not costing a lot. Ask her what's wrong... maybe call.

I don't mind calling her. I'm just concerned about the time frame. Don't want to come across as needy, etc.

Do it tonight, then that would be a day. If you wait longer it would seem like you dont care much... in my mind atleast.
