Hey everyone,

 

Im in college overseas since the start of september until next summer and my boyfriend who I've been with almost a year now is still in college at home. IT SUCKS!

We will see each other every 4/6 weeks because we've both booked flights over and back for a few different weekends during the year.

It still sucks though because we were so used to seeing each other every single day. Now being apart just feels like a part of me is missing.

 

CAN ANYONE GIVE TIPS/ADVICE TO HELP STAY POSITIVE AND HOW TO REALLY ENJOY THE TIME WE HAVE TO TALK WHILE IM AWAY?

 

I've been skyping.. watching movies online with my boyf.. sending letters.. texting... anything else we could do together?:)

I know its a difficult situation, im sort of in the same thing

but you have one thing that is really good, and that is that you will be seeing him every month or so, whenever you see him be sure to make the very best out of it, try doing new and interesting things together...talk about your future together.

and while you are away you can send him a gift, or write a poem...

watching movies is really great, i dont really have more to say because , i myself am in a similar situation , but good luck! i hope everything turns out good :)
