Dating was always fun to me because it was unpredictable.

I go out on a lot of first dates. Every once and a while, they turn into second dates. Usually by that time I know if I'm into them, or if they are into me, but its always one or the other. I like them a lot, but I didn't seem to impress them, or the woman is totally into me, and I am thinking of a way to get out of it. I get so frustrated when I meet someone I really like and it just fizzles out after a couple of dates or a few weeks. Dating has not been enjoyable to me at all, because I'm not succeeding with the women I want, only rejecting the ones I don't.

If it sounds like the wind has gone out of my sails, you're right. I just had two dates with a woman I am very attracted to, but I have a gut feeling she is just not that into me and may have let me down easy after our last date. I'm up in the air if there will be a third date, I have to give it a little time first before I text again. I wish I was more positive, but I'm already preparing to move on. I'll feel bummed out for a while, I'll run accross another hottie on a dating website, shoot an E mail and if I get a response, I'll be happy again, hoping the pattern does not continue.
