LostGirl11 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 What will you being doing this up-coming week to help you? I'm thinking of starting swimming to get fit, also want to start some sort of class and I'm going to start reading again. Lets hope I DO these things instead of just thinking about doing them.
Frank13 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Although I am getting back to doing things I used to do, I don't really have any incentive to better myself. Right now I would be willing to have a friend who I could do things with. Me and my ex were friends first and we had such a great connection that it caused me to fall for her. Although I have tried, I haven't been able to find anything close to that again with anyone as a friend. Plus, if I did, what would keep me from falling for my new friend only to have them not reciprocate? It is a catch 22.
InAFog Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Working out is a big help. The dramatic weight loss after the BU wasn't healthy so i started working out to be able to feel good about it - instead of just scared. But other than that i just have not been able to get into the things i love. i have always been an avid reader, but now my mind just wanders and i won't remember anything i read. music, movies, nothing feels the same. i hope this ends soon. i just want to be able to enjoy things again.
Mr Scorpio Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Same thing as every other week. School, sleep, study, sleep, work, sleep, study, school. Repeat.
Hobbit Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I have every incentive to better myself, I want my son to see a strong, sucessful dad in the years to come, someone to look up to etc. Plus keeping your mind occupied does help Over the past 7 days Ive done; Signed up for a nightcourse in Graphic Design Made a mix CD Looking for a new house / flat Looking for a new job Booked a holiday Finish Reading "I love you but Im not in love with you" (which is helping me get the closure I need) Next on the cards, book driving lessons 1
