When I haven't logged in for a few weeks due to having some great dates then I know it's time to at least 'hide' it.

Not working or needing time off... when i'm dating someone, I suspend the account, but not delete. Never know if things won't work out.

There's one OLD site where the quality of the ladies seem low compared to the other sites, so likely will delete my profile there.

I usually hide/suspend my account if I'm not getting any replies or hits. I go through "dry spells" where online is just not working, and then I go through stages where I get a ton of messages and visitors at once.

Cost-benefit analysis indicated that it was a waste of time and money.

As incredible as it may seem, I do after all have a life which doesn't depend on meeting women.

After a few good dates and progression with someone. If it's going somewhere, I remove myself from other offers as I consider my interests taken.

That's just me.

I'm still in denial here.

I still believe at least 5% are single parents like me who don't have much of a social life that is outside their little ones.

But the other 95% need a "strong man" that can "keep up with them" and all kinds of demands on who is & isn't allowed to contact them. :lmao:

was really new to OLD, hit it off big with someone. Was wondering if time to delete accounts -- eventually I was only using mine to view her profile, wondering is she still looking? but shy about bringing it up, too soon? Well, soon one day clicked on her profile and found her account was no longer active. Took me about a microsecond to decide to deactivate mine. So cool how she did that! No "talk" just mind reading. Nice feeling ever since.

I was about to delete my account on match......

I was talking to this girl and she disappeared couple months ago.

I saw her and messaged her again. she ended up coming to my place that night.

It was the easiest bang ever. no resistance at all. she was just DTF.

Oh well I think I will be on match again....

It's like going to a bar/club. who gets laid often?

But if you get some action once in a while, that's what makes you keep going.

When I realized it was easier to get laid by just going to the bar.

OLD is insane. Women will jerk you around and jerk you around about meeting in person. When you tell them to stop jerking you around, they freak out and go off about some crap about why you want to speed things up.

I've concluded a lot of damaged chicks do OLD just to get the attention without taking any risks.

There are tons of damaged women that do OLD. And a lot of them are serial daters too with no intention of meeting anyone for LTR potential.

The reasons I took it down was either because I needed a break or because I actually met someone - whether from the site or through real life.
