ImperfectionisBeauty Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 I'm not super excited about this date because.. I am just exhausted with dating and the same BS all the time but I have been telling this guy I would go out with him and we kept making plans and both of us cancelled a few times well now we finally are going. I haven't been on a date in like a month so idk what to wear or how to do my hair or anything. I met him on POF before I deleted it and idk how I feel about him, I mean he is kind of cute he seems nice.. I just am not excited about this at all I know it's bad but I am just dragging myself through. I have no real interest, it would be nice if we met and had great conversation and it turned into something just I am just seriously doubting it will.
Author ImperfectionisBeauty Posted September 15, 2012 Author Posted September 15, 2012 Is he engaged or married ? He is totally single 1
Author ImperfectionisBeauty Posted September 15, 2012 Author Posted September 15, 2012 Is he engaged or married ? And don't ask me that... If I am with someone who is married or single or engaged or whatever I'm sure i'll mention that when I post. I need advice about this date not about what to do with an engaged or married man. Thanks..
Balzac Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 What possible chance does this man have tonight? Maybe your feelings are partially anxiety? Honestly I'd rather have a woman cancel than show up with such ambivalence but that's a guy POV.

I am a little anxious I mean I haven't talked to him on the phone or anything and its weird but I have gone on dates before without ever having talked to the guy. I just feel unexcited because I feel like it is going to be the same thing another guy who doesn't know what he wants or wants to take things at a snails pace. I am going to go with an open mind but I just have a feeling.
Balzac Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 I get it. Look, it's on him to pitch his product and close the deal for a second date. Going in with low expectations is wise. I hope you update us post event? Enjoy what you can, set your own time line and remember that you have total power in this game.

USCGAviator Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Damn you make it sound like you have to sit in a waiting room or 2 hours just to hear your cholesterol is too high. I haven't met miss right since my divorce from miss wrong, but I'm loving life and having a blast with the dates I go on. Take a break from dating if your feeling hopeless, and when your ready hop back on the train.

It was a good time, we got along fine. There were no sparks on my part and in fact he did his very best to get me loaded (easily $100 bill in alcohol) so I would invite him in afterward.... that's a no-no for me. He was a virtual stranger! I was very drunk and still shut the door in his face and said goodnight. He was upset... oh well, what did he expect, lol! Either way, I had fun for what it's worth. Don't go looking for a prince, or Mr. Right... just have fun and stay safe!
Author ImperfectionisBeauty Posted September 15, 2012 Author Posted September 15, 2012 I'm all dressed and I am kind of excited I mean he seems nice and cool. Bad news is that my car battery died so I was supposed to meet him at 8 and now it has to be 9ish and I really am afraid he is going to think I am ditching him I feel really bad
