I've never really seen a woman ask someone to buy her a drink at a bar but I'm sure it happens. I don't know what I would do. I'm leaning toward no or something like "Get this round and I'll get the next".

(happened few times with my guy friends) I would never buy a drink for a women unless 1. She is dating me. 2. She is my girlfriend. There are no other exceptions. Call me cheap but at least i am not the one being used by immature collage girls.

In fairness, it might just be a way of them trying to pick you up.... I think the options of chat-up lines are more limited for women....

In New York city you have clubs where you pay $1000 per drink. There are a lot more women in those clubs than men and a lot of those women ask the men there to buy them a drink. Where I live they're called 'Breezer sluts'. (no joke, it comes from the Bacardi Breezer drinks that many women drink)
