lingardx Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 ok so i still live with my mum but there is more than enough room at mine for my boyfriend to move in but he always says "i want us to be together in our own place" why on earth won't he? i've moved in with an ex and we shared his single bed for 10 months and i have a double bed and a much bigger room. i don't understand why he won't even consider it
Ninjainpajamas Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 That's good, maybe he actually thinks like a responsible adult unlike somebody! He's probably more a logical thinker, why you're the heart on sleeve type that all the way with any guy you are with as far as they'd let you. So just because this guy isn't that way doesn't mean there's something wrong with him, maybe he's not that into you...maybe he doesn't want to live with his GF and her mom because it doesn't make him feel comfortable. Let him do what he wants to do If he wants to move out...at least this gives you guys both a goal to work towards together...but then again you're both probably very young, and I'd guess not even been together that long...I mean what could possibly go wrong! 1
Emilia Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 ok so i still live with my mum but there is more than enough room at mine for my boyfriend to move in but he always says "i want us to be together in our own place" why on earth won't he? Because for most adults it's a horrible idea to live with someone's parents. You should work towards having your own place instead. Who the hell wants to live with someone's mum? 1
phineas Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 I've had to emergency move way to many friends that lived under another person's roof when things turned bad. I will never live under someone else's roof. If I ever live with someone again it will be under my roof & if she wants out, she'll be the one moving.
veggirl Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 Baring extreme emergency circumstances, I would NEVER move in with a boyfriends PARENTS. I don't know anyone who would. Why don't you guys get your own place? I mean him moving in with your mom...AWKWARD! 1
TaraMaiden Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 lingardx, how old are you - exactly.....?
SmileFace Posted September 13, 2012 Posted September 13, 2012 What exactly does your mom think about this? My neither will rofl if I imagined moving someone into her house.

And he'd look like a mooch. He's right, if you want to live with him, get YOUR OWN SPOT. Don't live off your mothers hard work.
