I've been dating someone for a month, and I see this pattern emerging of being disappointed by him. I'm not going into the reasons. I've been going back and forth in my head of not wanting to see him any more. Is it better to tell him and be honest as to why, or just walk away and say nothing. Walking away is being a coward. He messaged me this morning, which I haven't answered. I'm still so bothered by our conversation yest, I can see this relationship be nothing but disappointment, and being hurt. It's shame to because I like him.

Without knowing your reasons I'd say it's always respectful to leave in a civil manner where the other person understands that it's over

Trying to find the right time is never easy. He's away on business, I'll have to wait until he comes back. Waiting may change my mind. IDK, I go back and forth in my head.

You certainly need to wait until you are 100% sure. No second guessing

I think honesty is the best route. If you were in his shoes and he was disappointed with you and just dumped you and walked away would you be bothered ? Ask yourself that question. Ignoring him and not communicating is passive aggressive behavior. If you are bothered by something, talk to him about it instead of letting it eat at you. If you are going back and forth in your head, maybe you two should not be together.
