weallfalldown Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 As above, i'm 37 and thinking i should think about upin the age to at least 42?......what would you go up to?
fortyninethousand322 Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I'm 24. I'd date a 35 year old woman. Unfortunately they're not much interested in a mid twenties guy who's unemployed and lives at home.
Author weallfalldown Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 hahaaa...........free cooking and washing too?.....

carhill Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 The oldest I dated was a 46 yo when I was 38, prior to marrying a lady essentially my own age. Since D, I've had second thoughts about some ladies I've met in their late 50's/early 60's but wasn't ready to date at the time, or they were attached. I'd have no issues with 8-10 years up right now, all else being equal.
EasyHeart Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I don't have any specific age limits, older or younger. If she looks good and I like her, I'll go out with her. I usually have no idea how old a woman is when I meet her, anyways. 4
gaius Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 The oldest I've considered was a woman I met outside the senior center. I'd imagine she was in her mid 60's, but outclassed a lot of women my age when it came to looks and personality. That's a 35 year gap or so.
somedude81 Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 When I was in my 20's, I've been with some women in their 40's but it was just a once or twice thing. I'm 31. For actual dating, I'd say my limit is 35, but I can't imagine why a woman in that range would have any interest in somebody like me. In terms of maturity and life experiences and past relationships, I've got much more in common with somebody in their early 20's than somebody in their 30's.
ThaWholigan Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I would probably date up to 35. I tend to find women in the late 20s/early 30s age bracket highly attractive, as attractive as women around my age (early 20s).
BehindBlueEyes Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I'm 37 and I really feel weird about dating a woman older than me, even by just one year. I guess in my world the man has to be the strongest and the older in the relationship. My limit for how young would be late 20,s and the oldest would be.....37 of course and I may consider girls that are 37 but older by a few months...I'd be ok with that, but no actual number older, not even one year.
Ninjainpajamas Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Always had an easier time connecting with older women than younger. However that's probably because they are less naive, more open and expressive, tend to be more intellectually stimulating, developed as individuals instead of dependent but still have the capacity to give..I tend to avoid the jaded and broken (like majorly not normal crap) people as I feel too responsible in the relationship, I want generally want someone who is emotionally responsible and aware. I'm almost 32 soon, I'd say I'd generally date someone ideally no more than 37 or 38. Generally I don't even think about this though. 1
Dreamless Sleep Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I'm 48. Early to mid 50's. Like everything, it's a function of many factors
