Hello,

My girlfriend and I have been together for about 3 months. We are both taking things pretty slow being this is the first relationship for both of us. I don't get to see her much, just inbetween classes at school. This is just because she is super busy right now because she has softball and horses she tends to on the weekends. Now the problem is that she hardly texts or calls me back. For example, she hasn't called or texted me back in 4 days now. I've only been texting her once a day just so I don't seem needy, but she doesn't reply. She has been busy with games and riding this weekend, but you can't tell me she can't find a quick second to shoot me a text. I sent her a text Saturday morning asking her why she won't text me back and I told her that I hate it when I don't get to talk to her. I then called her later in the day because of course by that time, I was concerned that she hadn't texted or called me since Thursday. I don't feel like I am being clingy since I was only trying to text her once a day, like any boyfriend should. I've tried to talk to her about the lack of communication before, but she usually brushes it off by telling me that she either forgot to text/call me back or that she was busy. I'm just curious why she doesn't make an effort to contact me. How can I talk to her about it? I know I want to talk to her about it, but I don't even know what to begin to say in fear of coming off as needy.

Thanks

We already tried that. We broke up for a while and she was the one who decided we should get back together, which kind of confused me.
