Have you ever heard of a couple getting back together after a decent period of time apart and it actually worked out?

Also have you ever heard of reconciliation after a really bad breakup? A break up so bad that it's amazing they even talk again let alone try again.

Just curious.

I know of a very specific case of an old poster (Alex) who came here three or four years ago with questions on how to reconcile. He has since left this site but as we are FB friends, I can attest that not only are they now back together, but married and expecting their first child.

I've seen similar stories. It is always specific to the people though.

My brother broke up with his wife 3-4 times before they got married. Now they are expecting their first born. BUT as is said. Everyone is different, every situation is different. Don't count on it.

And if you think about it. The chances of them divorcing is higher then 50/50. So don't look forward to long term reconciliations.

This is probably more important to take note of.

Most of these reconciliations probably wont last long.

I do know of a few that are going on 20+ years but that's from an older generation where things were done differently.

Nowadays people have too many options.
