lovebug1234 Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 I'm 27, I've had a crush on this guy for about 3 years. He moved away and now recently, he moved back. I don't know him very well but I'm extremely attracted to him. He sent me a message recently flirting with me then I decided to ask him to hang out. We had a great time, it was so beautiful and he was super sweet and romantic. He paid of our meals and drinks even though i thought we were hanging out just as friends. I really like the guy and I want to get to know him better. But it seems like each time we hang out, I'm always the one that has to initiate it. I have no idea what to do. If I don't contact him, nothing ever happens. If he didn't like me, why does he hang out with me and be the "perfect gentlemen"? I'm really really confused. I actually have no idea what I want from him long term, I just want to get to know him better but each time it's really strange, I"m usually working up a room but when I'm with him, I get tongue tied. The last time we hung out, I was sort of serious and he just make a lot of jokes that I didn't really get or he was being really sillyish...help!! I really want to spend more time with him and get to know him but I don't want to come on too strong since I'm always the one initiating things.

If so, I guess you'll only have your answer if you step back and let him initiate the next one. He sounds like he has a certain social ease, so he knows how to ask someone out. Wait and see.
