We've been going through a rough patch lately and things are a bit fragile. Anyway, a guy he knows contacted me through a friend and asked me out on a date. I, of course, turned him down. Should I tell my boyfriend? They're not friends per say, but they know eachother. I don't want to later be in a situation where my boyfriend may find out from someone else and I didn't tell him, but I don't want to rock the boat either! What would you do?

What type of friend gives his buddy's GF's contact info out to another guy? And how did your BF's friend have your contact info to give out in the first place?
