At this writing, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lead the Minnesota Vikings 31-13 at halftime-the only reason I am here now. The couples that watch football together, stay together.

He thinks it's cute that I get so excited about it though. So I guess that is one way it does brings us closer together. : - ) So maybe you are right, and I just have to say go Tampa Bay. It's about time the Vikings lost.

Believe it or not, it is an absolute bona fide statistic that the divorce rate is actually lower (by how much, I don't know) in cities with an NFL franchise. I don't think watching football is a requirement for a good marriage but a woman who tolerates her man sticking to the tube on Sunday's for the games is priceless.
