Matt145 Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 My ex texted me last night asking me if i wanted to hang out or talk anytime i should call her or ask her. I said ill never want to because thats like us being friends, i also told her we will never ever be friends. She then texted me back 2 hours later telling me she loves me and wants to give it another go. I spoke to her for an hour on the phone today and she told me she wants to give it another go once we have both settled down in college because she loves me and misses me but she is scared incase she realises she doesnt want it when we start getting back together. I told her she shouldnt be scared because atleast then ill know ive tried and its over for good if she doesnt want it. Which is how i feel, im pretty much over her at the minute and it wouldnt really bother me if she turned around tomorrow and said no i dont want to get back together. But i know in my head this is what i want, she treated me bad for the final 2 weeks of our relationship, but she was amazing to me and really nice to me throught the other 2 years and i dont care how old i am or whatever i would prefer to have that in my life right now, u guys can tell me about the risks and how it might not work but im already preparing for the worst i know it may not turn out well. I pushed her away when we was together because i was controlling and paranoid and insecure i also didnt make the relationship exciting enough, but ive learned from my mistakes and im a more confident guy now im not like i used to be and i think she knows that too and thats why she wants to give it another go. So that is why i have agreed with her to give it another go, i dont know exacly when we are going to start but i told her we are going to take things slow ( something we have never done before ) and i told her to just contact me whenever. Im going to let her do all the contacting im not going to contact her for a while. Anyone got any advice on how i should act and how i take things from here?
