Moose Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Chelsey, I don't know if this will help you at all coming from a guy, but, it happened for me the very first time I made eye contact with my wife!! I don't know how to explain it. It was very magical. I was in my 2nd year of college when I came home from class. My roomate was in our living room playing cards with her. I knew as soon as I walked in that she was the girl he was talking about a few months ago that he broke up with. ( He gave me a physical description ), And now I knew that he was trying to re kindle the relationship. But, when she looked at me with her soul peircing eyes, it was like, she knew that I was who she was searching for, ( If she was searching at all ). And I knew, just from that look that I could spend the rest of my life with her!! It's hard to explain, but you WILL know the second you lay eyes on him!!! I hope that time comes for you soon. Couldn't believe that saying was actually true, better, that it was happening for ME!! HA! HA! HA!! The correct answer....YOU DON'T KNOW!!! Not until you have been with him "forever" and have cleared hurdles, and passed tests, etc. For some people, the "you just know" theory is true. And that's really only because it happened to work out for them. Every relationship is different. Don't believe that one answer will ever apply to everyone!
