AD1980 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Maybe its me but ive always been a loyal person almost to a fault and always try to be there for people icare about especialy when theyre going through dark times i think thats most important Is it selfish of me to expect the same back? I know i should do things from the goodness of my own heart so i feel bad that at times i have a feeling of resentment when i feel people arent as loyal as me or dont fully appreciate what i try to do for them as a friend or family member Iam not gonna change ill always be a loyal person and be there for the people i care about,maybe i should just worry being the best person i can and not worry about what the other person does with it

Sometimes, people have good intentions, but poor follow-through. It doesn't make them a bad person per se. It just makes them a bit unreliable. You probably already know the people who will be there for you, without fail. And those who won't. As well as though who might. That's probably as good as it's going to get, unfortunately. 1
Nikki Sahagin Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I feel the same. I feel like being are so self interested and self absorbed. When you talk, they are just waiting to speak. They don't really listen, or care. But most people aren't, not really. A lot of the time it just feels that way.
