SoulSearcher22 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 I messed around with this girl who was a few months fresh off of a breakup with a boyfriend of 3 years. We had a very fun 2 months. We never offically "dated" but my goodness...if you saw us you would have thought we were. Anyway, her ex called up one day begging for her back and things like that. He told her he was moving to another state a few states away and that he wanted her to come with. She ends up getting back with him but does not move. To be honest, I'm not that upset about it, but I would definitely have liked to make her mine. Anyways...after 2 months of NC, she finds me at the college we go to the 3rd day of class. We hug for a while, and we have a long flirty conversation until class started. After class, she finds me again as i'm driving away and honks at me and we pull over. Another hour conversation and long stares into each other eyes and things like that and then we leave. She calls that night and tells me that not a day has gone by since the last time we spoke that she didn't think about me. We talk and text that weekend like old times. Come monday I finally ask her if her and her bf are still together...she says in a text "We are...for now. You never know. If you don't want to talk to me anymore, I understand. I won't look for you at school tomorrow." I tell her with an answer like that...I would like to keep in touch just like we did this past weekend. So we've been seeing each other before class and things like that. I plan on inviting her out for some drinks at a bar we used to frequent together next week and maybe to a football game that weekend. I will make positive she knows I am not going to be her friend. I texted her yesterday "I hope you know I'm gonna date you one day" and she responded ";) We shall seee". lol flirty respond...whatever..but.. what else do i need to do to make this girl steer away from her bf in another state to me?

Here's the thing. You gotta put the ball back in your court and tease her with it. Saying your gonna date her one day is a NO NO! Wake up dude!! Handle yourself cool and do your own thing but always make sure to banter and flirt with her when you see her. Don't show any more interest than that. You play that off well she'll be dropping the whole "bf for now" talk and be hot on your trail. Am I making any sense here?

I don't see them lasting long. But I figure...I tell her that...then start low contact...only letting her start conversations...which is basically how it is now.
