Ldr 3 1/2 year. Gf just said she's needs a break and some space

Hi my name is Justin. I have been with my gf for 3 and a half years and it's been LD for 75% of it. We have been getting in stupid arguments lately we see each other every 2 weeks to a month for 3 to 5 days. This weekend we she got back to Orlando she told me she need a break and some space this happend once before 2 years ago and didn't go well. Anyways I do not want this at all she means more to me than anything in the world but she just turned 21 lives in a college town and her 2 roommates just recently became single. I feel like

I'm in day one of withdrawal and don't know what to do the thought of not spending the rest of my life with her or even worse her being with someone else is unbearable. I just don't understand where this came from like she says all

The time how she can't wait to marry me and she wants to be with me forever and I know lately I have been kinda distant and have not been the greatest partner lately but you never realize those things until something like this happens. I no she wants space but I just am filled with so many emotions and I tell myself I'm going to give her her space then next thing I know I'm being a dumbass cause I wanna knOw how she could do this or how she's in love with me one day and wants a break the next or whatever and I'm probably just making things worse for myself telling her I'm just going to show up at her house like a crazy person but I'm not. I just feel totally defeated cause she is the only person I really have in my life and the only woman I have ever loved. She is my heart. I could just use some advice on what to do to have the best possible chance of her wanting to choose me in the end. Thanks in advance for any responses and advice .

I agree with justwhoiam. You need to tell her why you were "distant" and how much she means to you. Talking is the easiest way to sort out problems. Might be difficult but it's the only solution. I hope everything will work out!

Tried that it didnt go over to well she just kepts getting more annoyed by me talking her and not giving her her space but I told

If she really cares that much, I assume she wouldn't let you go. If you want to risk it, just tell her that you don't feel like being one of the bunch and stop talking to her. At that point, you either lose her or she'll start rethinking the whole thing. You should be ready to lose her anyway.

 

But the question here is: why does she want her space? It may be she fell out of love, or you were pestering her... it could be anything.
