vanandme4him Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 Has anyone seen this movie yet? It's with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy. It's sooooo lovely and completely emulates my relationship with my MM. Oh, BTW, if i'm the OW, but he's not married, but in long term relationship...what does that make him? I mean, he's not a MM, so what abbreviation can I use for him. Well, I highly recommend that movie to all of you. It's an independent film, so it's not in wide-release yet. I think it'll be in wide release on the 23rd of July. Be ready to cry. Tootles....

Author vanandme4him Posted July 21, 2004 Author Posted July 21, 2004 She knows. It's one of those Hollywood relationships. He's rich, so she doesn't care. As a matter of fact when I called his home this past weekend she answered the phone. I was in such shock to hear her voice I hung up. Stupid me....my number wasn't blocked so my name came up on the caller ID. She handed the phone to him and said "here...jen just called. you might want to call her back". Of course he did, and even asked me why I had hung up. UMMMM, duh....YOUR GIRLFRIEND answered the phone!!! They have a twisted relationship (lol, i should talk right?).
InmannRoshi Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 I haven't seen Before Sunset (not the type of movie I want to go to alone), but I heard its very good. I have Before Sunrise on DVD. I live in Austin and Richard Linklater is very beloved here as he's a hometown kid (still lives here). Ethan Hawke also spends a lot of time here. Julie Duply and Hawke were down here for the movie's premiere.
Author vanandme4him Posted July 21, 2004 Author Posted July 21, 2004 i'm so jealous...you know, I've never actually seen Before Sunrise. It's silly, but I'm afraid to watch it. Like somehow it would tarnish the experience of having seen Before Sunset.
InmannRoshi Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 From what I've heard they are almost completely different movies (duh), in that they deal with totally different themes. The characters in Before Sunset are in their early 20's, so its more romantic and idealistic. The dialogue in Before Sunset is supposed to be more adult oriented.
