Body language: do the legs tell the truth?

I made a decision to make a goal of dating one particular girl in on of my classes.

I'm a shy guy so I haven't actually talked to her yet. I had it planned to try to talk to her after class today because she gave me a double take during class, but noticed that for the entire class she had her legs crossed away from me and this is supposedly a huge sign of no interest. I could see if she had crossed away for some of the class and towards me for the rest but for her to cross away from me for 1.5hr class that seems deliberate. Please give me some feed back on this so confused.

I think you are over thinking this. Since you are in the same class, is there a way that you could approach her that seems natural, and then strike up some light conversation?

I seriously doubt I can just approach her just to make light conservation. If I wasn't so shy, sure. The only way I can really do anything is if I'm certain she's in to me. Then I have enough willpower to skip small talk and get a number or something. I'm not there yet and the fact that she crossed away for the entire class makes me hesitant.

You're reading into way too much body language. You need to pay attention to the eyes if anything. Attractions means nothing if it's not connected, so plan on sitting by her and thinking of something to talk about, even it's small. Like before class, comment on how weird or interesting the class is (assuming which side she may be on), and she'll say something and you two can flirt for a bit until the next class, you say "Hey" to her. Ask how hows she's doing. Ask about her weekend. You are GOING to have to talk to hookup with any girl, unless you plan on going to a dance club and having the music speak for for you. If you don't break out of shyness, accept the fact you will not get the girl.
