So I have been talking to this guy for a few months now and it is great but my only issue is it is a long distance relationship. I am really liking him but I have noticed that when I am feeling lonely I start to think about all the memories of my ex. Us going out having fun, cuddling watching a movie, us joking around laughing. Also all the things we use to do he now does with his new girl. I hate it because I start to feel down. It doesn't come around to much but it does at least once a month for a few days. I have only spent a weekend with my new bf but it was brief. We saw each other, had lunch, talked, exchanged a hug and kiss then went on our way. He had a curfew. I feel like I need to make memories with him to completely forget about my ex. Is that wrong?

I'm sorry you're going through that ugly feeling, but I would guess it's part of life.

I don't think it's wrong, you obviously want happiness back and create new memories with the person you like/love. I do however think you may need to meet more people, you don't necessarily need to create memories with a love interest, it could be with good friends or family?
