Have any of you done this? Where can these products be acquired? Do they sale something that works at a drug store?

There is actually something called "semenspy". I hope I got the name right. I just looked it up after reading this thread because it never occured to me that you could get samples from someone without them knowing. I'm curious now, how would you get a sample? Is there something simular for women? Wow, the things they have now!

I would think just a quick google would bring up some results but would like to add that I feel if your relationship has gone to the point where you feel you need to be doing semen testing their underwear then your relationship is already over and it would be best to just breakup of file for divorce.

Save yourself the trouble...

I guess you could use it to find out if someone is cheating for sure but the results won't be allowed to enter the courtroom and like I said earlier.. if you mistrust someone to that point the it is over anyhow.. regardless of the results.

Another question- how do you know it isn't yours? Do you have to test yourself also and then compare? Sorry if this is to personal, I just never knew this type of test even existed.

Easy to know it's not me. We haven't been active that way in weeks.

And yet, there are major stains.

Yes, I agree if it has sunk this far in suspicions is too late to save the marriage

A a couple of examples (of a control group) would be consistent condom use or a sexless marriage, where the husband's semen was contained and not generally available for easy deposit on tested articles. The consumer tests target semen in general. Only a DNA test would prove ownership and that's expensive and time-consuming and would require compliance of one or more individuals if done legally.

It's been said before but, you will learn more from a voice activated recorder under the dash in her car.

Or hire a PI.

Yeah, reading the other thread, if proof is that important (like in a fault divorce proceeding), gathering it legally is paramount. If the recorder is legal, inexpensive solution. I'd probably pay a professional to gather evidence, presuming it was being prepared for a legal case. Otherwise, don't bother. When it's all said and done, presuming divorce is the path, knowing isn't any more of a comfort than not knowing, IME. Sometimes it's better to just move on. Life is short.

Generally speaking, I’m of the mind set that its just over, but every situation isn’t always cut and dry.

Ok, you need proof to get some closure and reassurance you are doing the right thing by divorcing her. You have said that a PI is too expensive, but you have gotten many other suggestions such as VR or GPS. If you need something that will give you concrete proof that she cannot wiggle out of (so to speak) than the semen detector should give it to you. If her panties test positive and you haven't had sex with her, done deal. In fact, this is something I've never heard of and sounds as though it could be valuable for busting any WH or WW. How can they explain stains on underwear?

Posted

Maybe he's pulling out and doing DNA pressure washing on her stomach; you can't test for that.

I looked into this when I first started investigative mode on my W. Didn't use it but it seemed legit to detect semen.

I'm guessing that the OPs wife must be a police officer or something that prevents the use of a VAR or GPS and he is hesitant to explain.

Betrayed

A positive test on a pair of panties would enough of a smoking gun for me.

I can't answer your question about the test, but don't get too carried away. What are the chances of the stains being vaginal secretions? That's a more likely explanation, especially for major stains. Just test before landry gets done.

All I plan to do is test it. I understand it could be normal stains.

Black light to investigate lots of clothes.

The semen test [i think it's called checkmate], for absolute proof on her undies.

Wikipedia back flow as well, to understand how it ends there if need be.

I have located a local business that sales CheckMate, and plan to pick up a kit today.

Just glad you're seeking out some proof. My entire mindset changed when I "knew" my W was cheating rather than just suspecting.

Negative results, checked twice.

Well is she throws her panties in the wash and then hits the shower as soon as she gets home, that might be a big red flag that shes on to you LOL.

I actually tried one off ebay when me and my XW were in the process of divorce. I simply needed to know. Never showed up possitive because her love was two states over. I was looking in the wrong place. Turns out she accidentally gave me the evidence in the form of emails. At least then I knew it was in fact an OM.

Good to hear but still doesnt mean anything. A VAR is the #1 way to go IMHO.

Anybody ever use a blacklight? Im wondering is semen supposed to show up glowing with one or what?

People have an amazing false sense of security while driving in thier car.... That false security is actually at the root of Road Rage, and of course we've all caught someone "digging for buried treasure" at a stop light...

The VAR is key and I truly wish I knew of that one back when it would have been a use to me. But I had never thought of it.
