i was always supporting my gf..always going to see play her sports..always telling her to practice..i would go running and ill push her to do better...i would help her with homework..told her to do it..i was always there...picked her up from work and school when she need it. ..what ever she wanted this captn was there........yes i would ask her who is she talking to, why are you doing this..get mad at her.. wouldnt let her talk to some friends...i dont understand..why look at my issues instead of seeing what ive done for her...

She broke up with you...she doesn't care what you did for her. Or maybe she does but it didn't make her change her mind. So what? I'm spending a decent amount of my time obsessing over the past and its not getting me anywhere.

What you should be asking yourself is "geez, all this **** I did for her...was I being a bit of a nice guy/doormat?"

You cannot win or keep a woman just by constantly doing **** for her...thats what butlers are for...

Yep. It goes both ways, a woman can be a man's mommy and a man can be a woman's daddy. Move on, you're ok.
