CaliGuy Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Thank you. Even "old man Cali" learns a thing or two. While I may have had some insecurities in the past when there were relationship problems, the main true and real issue is objectification of others. And the funny thing is I had no idea I was doing that. Sometimes its very hard to see other people's perspective from their shoes and today after reading that article it was like getting bonked on the head with a hammer. Like God saying "NOW do you get it?!" Yes Lord, I do.... Duly noted.... and thanks for the article. It wasn't that I was overly insecure or a doormat, women had left me because I didn't see them as people, just as objects. To insecure women it's bad and the kind I like (secure and self-assured women) would not waste an ounce of their time on a guy like that. Like me. Duh! What a very sad and pathetic revelation. Hopefully it means I can rid myself of that problem (ie: Stop staring at her b88bs) and actually have a fun, intellectual and exciting conversation with someone I am interested in -- and not just because they rev the wrong engine. Cali owes a lot of apologies.... 1
