Honorable.

Respectable.

Integrity.

Wanting/Expecting those qualities in someone, means to adhere to it and set that bar for myself.

My boyfriend in my opinion is the embodiment of a good man- he is honest, sometimes to a fault but he always sees the good in people, refusig to pass judgments on others. He's kind and generous and is always there to give a helping hand. One ofhis quality trait is that he respects me. He tells me that even though most men want and expect ' freedom' while in a relationship, he never felt a need to look at other girls or expect me to give him that leeway. I trust him to know he would never hurt me.

No not really, I'm a man of pure science and nothing else. I know all there is to understand about female existence down to her atoms.

I hope you don't take the PUA ideologies to heart too much.

It's actually helped me a lot in many ways but it can easily lead men to believe that all women are a certain way.

If you want to get laid, it'll work.

If you want to find love and be loved, it's poison (if you're not careful with what you take in).

I don't want to derail the thread so that's my last comment regarding this topic.

Good luck.

I suppose it's best to clarify that honesty with tact, guided by love, is better than honesty with no tact, guided by spite.

Butterfly, I completely agree with this.

I've tried that whole 100% honesty thing and it can be hurtful for the person on the receiving end.

This reminds me of a quote I heard before, "If you don't have anything nice to say, SHUT THE F*** Up!" =)
