mysteryscape Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 it's possible for there to be a "relationship" for a long time without sex, i.e. sexual intercourse -- in fact, one school of thought says put off "sex" as long as possible. The logical conclusion of this is put it off until marriage -- let's not go into intentionally celibate marriage -- that's not very popular today, and I'm not advocating, but I don't disdain the idea either. People who've managed to do it testify that it's very rewarding, though they tend to be kind of reticent. I'm even talking about people who've had one or more failed marriages and then deliberately waited in their new, hopefully successful and final relationship.
