El Brujo Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 My best (male) friend and I asked for and got online apps to become organizers for speed dating parties. But then my friend said, "some of the women who show up at your parties will start asking you out." I don't know how he knows this, because he has never hosted a speed dating party... OTOH I've been to about 17 of them (never got picked), and I've never known any of the guests to hit on the organizer. That makes me uncomfortable... I only want to be an organizer for the money. It's possible to rake in $1,500 a night if you have the energy, and you don't have to care whether your guests are PUAs, losers, sluts, or whatever. If any of the women at my parties tried to hit on me, I'd tell them straight out that I'm NOT INTERESTED.
FitChick Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 How do you know you aren't interested until you meet them? I'd consider it a bonus because you wouldn't have to do anything to reap the reward. 2
Hawaii50 Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Really not surprised if they are hitting on the host.. they probably get to see/hear you the most out of all the other men in the room, and the fact that you're hosting the even might suggest that you're helpful, savy, outgoing, and confident. 1500 a night, that's stripper money, pal.

These will be your customers, so try to do it in a way that doesn't upset them. You want them to go away from the event happy enough to recommend the next one to their friends.
SmileFace Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) This has been the weirdiest complaint I have seen on ls. We need an Anti-Dating section for you. Edited September 1, 2012 by SmileFace 3
