A question for the guys, would you be turned off if a woman smoked pot once or twice a month?

Some of my friends say that they wont date a guy who does that, but i do it too sometimes.

My only issue with the activity is that it's illegal in my area, and I happen to live amongst areas where it and other illegal substances are produced/formulated, hence law enforcement has higher scrutiny for such activities here. Other than that, I see no difference between MJ and alcohol, if used responsibly. MJ use isn't uncommon in my age group, as we grew up with it as a drug of choice during the 60's/70's.

So, if MJ were legal here and a lady had an occasional joint, I would see it no differently than me having a G&T or a couple beers.

depends how horny she gets.....:lmao:

Once or twice a month seems reasonable, but being that it is illegal here she better be doing it in her own house.

it's illegal nearly everywhere.......loads of people smoke it,,,,for medical reasons too.....if she's a right lazy mare, because she tokes all day long then yea, it's a problem.......chill out pyro, no one's going to jail...

Honestly, a huge turnoff. But that goes for smoking in general. And yeah I don't want to get busted for something that I have nothing to do with; illegal factor.

I've noticed a correlation with sluttiness, but a lot of guys won't and don't care.

Never been a turn off for me - sh*t, if I had the lungs for it, I would still be doing it :D.

Better to put it in a bong or a vaporizer though, it's healthier. Plus no need to dilute it with cigarette/tobacco, which is the real killer.

It used to be a turnoff, but now, not so much. Just as long as I don't have to participate, I could care less. It's like alcohol in that way.

Wouldn't bother me at all.

I think it's a complete joke and totally political why it's illegal anyway...If anything booze causes an infinite amount of more problems in just about every facet...and I live in Los Angeles so I can't really say I'm saving my lungs!

At any rate, it's not something I find terribly attractive. I just don't really like the smell of smoke and the stench that it leaves, although weed smells better than regular smoke to me.

So I'd say for quality of life/compatibility It probably wouldn't be for me in the long-term...but If It wasn't anything serious honestly, I would care much less.

Once or twice a month sounds extremely minimal/non-existent, can't say I'd blink an eye at that or consider it smoking. It's not something I spend a lot of time thinking about, and I wouldn't judge anyone based on it's illegal use...not when you take into consideration who's making them, why, and for what purpose.

Here in Colorado(the healthiest state in the US), it's legal and it is much more difficult to find people who don't smoke pot. Everywhere I've lived though, I and those I associate with, don't see it as a problem.

I smoke about once a week, on the weekend. My conservative boyfriend who has never even tried alcohol or smoked in any way has asked about it, and even jokingly called me a "stoner". But he admits he's curious to try it, and says he might like to try it with me someday. He said he heard all the colors are brighter. I confirmed that your senses are heightened, and said sex while stoned is amazing  I imagine he'll wait a while before he tries this with me.

His only concern is that it can dull motivation and productivity - but I'm kicking butt at my business, so I think he sees it's not an issue. Most of my friends who smoke weed occasionally are productive partakers with good jobs and all that jazz.

When I spend time with him, I don't smoke, and I don't even think about it.

No I wouldn't date a girl who does it.

Although I don't smoke I do think it's silly that it's illegal and our economy would get a much needed boost (crime would go down too) if it were legal. But even if it were legal I wouldn't smoke it, nor again, would I date girls who did it. Drugs have never been my thing. Never experimented, never took so much as a puff.

No thanks . I remember having to babysit a friend after such an experience.

Nah, strictly weed for me. And the occasional drink.

i think i fried my brain in the 90's with it...

If it's really that occasional then I don't think I would have a problem. I did date someone who smoked pot every day - I'd say she had a problem with it (or with something, anyway) - and wouldn't want to date someone with such a regular habit again.

I don't care if someone smokes and I wouldn't want to be with someone who looked down on it anyway. I smoke most nights, for pain relief and to stimulate my appetite. But if I don't have any, I don't really care. I'll go months without smoking and then pick it back up again whenever it's convenient.

What I DO care about is if someone let's it run their life and ceases all productivity. I don't like addictions of any sort, not even ciggarettes.

I guess what I'm saying is, if you smoke, then clearly you don't want to be with a guy who would look down on that sort of thing. It probably means that there are other issues on which you would disagree, too. So who cares? Do your thing.

I don't mind banging her. I think most guys would do that unless they have lots of 'clean girl' options.

What if it was legal? Would that change how you see it?

I don't think once a month is enough to fry your brain is it?
