For those on this board who complain that they are not attractive enough to attract people of the opposite sex, this is the night you can be anybody you want to be, all you need is a costume.

I usually have a costume idea by now.

Slutty costumes where fun before everyone and their grandmother didn't have one. Now you see 10 year old girls dressed in "slutty" pirates, tinkerbells, cats, SpongeBob Square Pants, plant holders, plates, napkins costumes. Maybe it's just me but it's a bit trite and creepy when you see a holiday that use to be about imagination and fun and candy be turned into yet another market where girls feel they need to be "sexy" in. I live in a very small town that really does Halloween awesomely. The houses in town go out for it and it looks very much like something you would see in a Disney movie. But then you see all these little girls trying to be sexy and it's just jacked up. One year, I went into a store to buy cat ears for my Josie and the Pussycat Doll costume and this little 14 year old girl was asking her daddy if she could buy some slutty nurse outfit. And Daddy was like, "Sure Hunnie"..... WTF. I feel for these girls. They probably feel the pressure of competition along with their own growing sexuality and feel excited to wear something like that but it's a real shame because they are loosing a lot of innocence and fun for a Holiday that should be just that. Innocent and fun for them.

It's scary how things have changed.

Hearing that a 16 year old is pregnant is becoming more of a norm, or so it seems.

you're scary looking enough without a costume, so it's OK.

I will process this as external validation. Thank you.

Now the question is...does she know that she's your crush...? And does she know that she'll be wearing that...?:laugh:

No I'm just dreamin' : D. But damn she's hot. Did I say she was a freakin' jizzload? She's so hot the sun got burned just by looking at her. ZING! A mix between a Latino Jessica Rabbit and Latino Wonder Woman for sure though.

I haven't dressed up for Halloween since 2005, and then, I was doing what I could to fix the costumes, because they showed too much leg (at the very least). I was supposed to be handing out candy to the kids, not giving their dads ideas.

Four years ago, I missed it, because they decided to trick-or-treating the Saturday before (and Halloween was on a Thursday). The past few years, I've been depressed. Woo-hoo. I tried to lighten up, but nothing worked. hopefully this year will be better.

I would love to live in a town that really gets into the whole thing, but I hate seeing girls not getting to just be girls. they have to be eye candy instead.
