ilovedogs21 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I was in a relationship for 2.5 years which ended last fall, and I am finally in a place where I am happy and ok with everything. I know he wasn't right for me because of he was a pathological liar (only about stupid things to make himself sound better to everyone). All of my friends have boyfriends, and go on double dates and I sometimes feel left out. Has anyone else gone through this? I'd love to find a guy for myself, but it's so hard being out of college
DarlingWallflower Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I understand how you feel but all hope isn't lost. You're still young and you're in a good place in your life. You can either sit and sulk as life passes you by wishing that you had a boyfriend or you can go out there and take matters into your own hands. Surely your friends know a guy you would be a good match with or you can join a club. You will find someone, give it time.
sanctun Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 im in the same boat as you, actually happened last fall too she left me for her ex.it really sucks not having someone special to be talking to but with time that person comes, and thats what gives me hope,Im there if you need to talk/b*tch lol
CopingGal Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 My ex is a compulsive liar and has strong traits of two personality disorders. He psychologically beat me down to the ground, so I was glad to get rid of him. I'm lonely, but happy I never went back to him and happy that I keep NC going. I'd rather be lonely than to be stuck with someone like him.
