People say its a number game... But are people getting rejected 20-100 times in a row?.

How often have you been rejected the most before you got a date ( take old from the picture ).

32 times in 10 weeks.

Does a lifetime count as a number?

They have no idea what they are missing out on. There loss.

It didn't matter really, they were actually quite amicable considering.

During that time, I pretty much forced myself to get used to the idea that I would get rejected sometimes. After that, I didn't do so much chasing and approaching, I just needed to get that fear out the way. I still get anxiety, but when you're able to reframe that anxiety, you'll do OK - even if you don't.

I don't keep track of this.

I don't know how many times in a row, but I am batting about .300.

A lot of rejection depends on what type of women you ask out. I mean if a guy is only approaching super models, he could easily go 0-100,

In person, though it was many, many years ago, back in my 20's, I went about 15 months without a single positive answer, but it wasn't a big number, maybe a dozen or so. A positive answer would be a woman agreeing to go on a date when I asked her out. It happened when I still lived in a relatively populated area and met women fairly regularly. After moving to the country back in the late 80's, fuggetaboutit. It was tough to find a dozen women to ask out :D

I can't say I ever kept count. But also on the other hand, just because I swung and missed on the first pitch, did not mean that I threw down my bat and walked back to the dug out. I'd give it sometime give it some thought, and come up with a different approach. Maybe first invite was to the movies, and the second would be to the local stock car races.

One gal rejected my invites at least half a dozen times, even flat told me I was too old, too short and too poor to ever consider going out with me. She even repeated it on the day she finally agreed to go fishing with me the next day. Three years later she finally left me when I still couldn't find the guts to set our wedding date

No lie, about a month ago I was shutdown 4 times in a row. One literally went extremely well, she actually broke her wrist and I splinted it. Talk to my friend during the week just to see if she was single. My friend was like yup, I'll talk to her for you. Asks if I was the guy who splinted her wrist? Said yup...two hours later oh I was wrong she is dating someone. Talk about being shot down lol. You take it in stride and surprisingly it does get easier as time goes on. Plus, you will eventually get a yes/interest.

Got ya beat. About 50 times in just over a month. This both online, and in person at a club/bar. :(

Only 2-3 times now. But that number is only so low because I'm not actively asking women out, I'm pretty darn sure. :o:laugh:

And I'm a hermit in most regards. ....Back to the shell.

Zero as I've never been rejected by a guy I'm interested in.

Many gals do. If you're implying that gals have zero rejections because they don't ask out men different experiences as I know several gals that ask out guys and their answer is zero as well.

Then they have only asked out handfull.

ye, I have friends who are never rejected but they are good looking and are not asking out many women.

Depends on what you consider a handful. For me I don't consider 20 and above to be a handful.
