MercuryMorrison1 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 So, let me start off by saying earlier this year I made an Okcupid account in an attempt to try and expand my dating horizons. Well needless to say it turned out basically being a bust, after a couple of months of sending messages out to girls only to never get a response from them, I basically decided f**k this and just stopped checking my account. Well, the other day just for the hell of it I checked my profile just for novelty of doing so, and suprisingly I had a message from a girl who's profile I had never seen before. She explained to me that she read threw my profile and noticed that her and I shared many common intrests and asked me if I would send her a message back containing a poem that I had written, the catch though was that she had sent this message about a week prior to my notice of it. Well needless to say I surfed her profile and acutally found her quite attractive as she provided decent photos of herself and based on the information she provided we did have many common intrests. So natuarally I sent her a message back containing a poem I had written a few years ago. Well that was a few days ago and she hasn't replyed back yet, but she has checked out my profile everyday since I sent her a reply. Is she just flaking? I even sent a follow up message to her thinking that maybe I didn't properly send my last message or something, but she still hasn't replyed, but continues to check out my profile? It makes no sense. So yeah, is she flaking? Or am I doing something wrong sending my messages? Thanks for any help.

IMO, you should've said you would be willing to share it personally once you get to know her first. btw, you should never invest your time (reading her profile throughly, writing a well written message) on online girls. you invested too much emotion to this. that's why you are asking here just because you didn't get a reply from an online girl!

I think she either met someone or she flaked…which happens a lot on these sites. I was talking to a girl on okcupid, exchanged like 5 messages, and then I asked for her number. That was three days ago. Oh and she looked at my profile twice since then. LOL Easy come, easy go. 1
