Now as I look back, I wish I could've handled the relationship differently. I wish I could've been more mature, more understanding, more responsible, and more respect. She moved on because of that. Now I have nothing but regret and all the what if questions. Not sure how to deal with this all.

Accept that you're imperfect and move on, respectful of the lessons learned. The emotions which impel regret are re-channeled into something positive and forward-looking. It's a choice. The emotions might be beyond one's control but we choose how to channel them to word and action.

One day you will meet someone who accepts you for all you are, faults and all.

It wasn't just your relationship but also your SO as well. You both share responsiblity for the relationship.

It takes two people to make a relationship work, but only one to break it.

Learn from your mistakes and move on.

This is so tough. I'm in the same boat, I have some massive regrets about the way I handled my last relationship, and it is easy to get caught up in wishing that things had been different, thinking about what I could have done better, etc. But unfortunately, the past is the past, it can't be changed. Try to learn the lessons you can about what you could have done better, and then move on. That's the best you can do at this point. If you keep moving forward, eventually, you'll be in a better place and hopefully get a chance to do things right the next time around.

It's easier said than done though.
