Ace00 Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Hi. First post, looking for some opinions. I met this girl at work we hit it off immediately we both felt like we became best friends. Didnt start to get romantic until about 2 years into the friendship. Mostly because we were both in relationships. We hooked up and broke up. She wanted to us to finish off our relationships at the time (yes they were winding down). So she wont see me until her relationship is done, mine is. Her and I seemed like we were on the same wavelength. We could kiss for hours on end. She said she felt like I would treat her like gold, and she felt young again with me & forgot all her problems. We still talk everyday, she says she wants to do things with me eventually but I am not sure if its friendship or if she is still interested. We were talking about road trips, a weekend away (she had bought one while things were good and she brought this up to use just a week ago), night out dancing, staying over night, etc... We went to the movies after the breakup (a week later) held hands the entire time and kissed afterwards for a while. Would any one do that stuff with their Ex? AlexfromBoston Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Ace, I actually went to the movies exactly one week after we broke up and we held hands, kissed, and even had sex later in the evening after a few drinks. In fact, we were going strong for a few more weeks until she decided that she needed to bring our relationship to a close and move on. She alledged that she couldn't deal with my dishonest behavior. Many girls do this as a means to wean off their ex...just like a drug/alcohol addict might do in the latter stages of their addiction. Essentially, it's a comfort zone for them until they can officially kick you to the curb without batting an eye. Now, you can turn this around by appearing very confident and slightly cold during this delicate stage. If you can turn on the charm and kill her with kindness and confident, she will have a harder time terminating your relationship. Make sure YOU are the one to termiante any dates or contact. Let her know that you have a life and will have no problem moving on.
