Today is the most perfect day I've seen all year, I ALMOST picked up my phone and called him to ask him to go for a walk with me. Then I realized that we're broken up and he would have said no anyway. I feel like a bum, all I've been doing is crying in my room when I could have been out there all day.

Do beautiful (or cold, depending on where you live, but still beautiful) days make you miss your ex? If so, what do you do to enjoy it without them?

Here its coldish for August, gloomy and gray, I wasnt out today. Its so windy you could catch a cold. Ive been inside almost biting my nails. Not much to do, seems wasteful, towns fair is coming this weekend, at least that will be some distraction and crowded place (...and conclusion of the summer and she might be there... and uhm, maybe someone other who will catch my eye) ... other than that its all gray.

Everything makes me miss my ex. When I have good news, bad news, a song I just discovered, a movie I want to see, anything really.

I did everything with him and it's a natural reaction to miss him like hell.

I wish I could be his friend like he wants, but I want so much more than that. I can't imagine myself settling for less.

But I did not only lose a lover, I lost my best friend.
