Tired1981 Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 The dumper or the dumpee? Curious. My ex is now dating a guy who just got out of a 6 year relationship. He was the dumper. Gets me he's leave that relationship where she had 3 kids (not his) but then to get into another feet first with someone else with 3 kids.
soccerrprp Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 My observation has been that either male or female that has been hurt emotionally from the breakup and needs some physical (and emotional) reassurance of some kind. So, not certain if either sex has the advantage. Also, those who intentionally create a rebound relationship because they simply don't care about the feelings of the reboundee.
TooHonest123 Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 I have to agree with the poster above me. I do believe that the dumpee is usually the one that tends to fall in a rebound relationship, since most of the time the dumper has had enough time to prepare for the break up. On the other hand the dumpee might not even see it comming and be suddenly struck by a huge emotional brick wall. So dumpees should in general be more careful than dumpers when it comes to falling in a rebound relationship. They need more time to get over their last relationship and deal with their emotions.
