lovelornandlost Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Has anyone tried the Michael Fiore Text your Ex Back? I really don't want to spend any money on stuff like that. But a friend offered to give me hers. She never tried it because her ex moved abroad. I don't really want to make things worse (I'm in the friend zone at least). What are your thoughts?
KatZee Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 I mean it's not COMPLETE BS... but it's no magic solution either. The tips he gives... along with the tips every other "Get your Ex Back" "expert" out there gives... only works if the person you're trying to get back WANTS you back, or wants you on some level. If your ex dumped you and said "we're done and you have no chance ever again" then this won't work for you. I used that program on my ex, and absolutely nothing happened.

KatZee are you a man or a woman? What are the key concepts in texting your ex back?
Matt145 Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 It depends on your situation, if your ex doesnt want a relationship full stop and wants to be single then it wont work because you cant change somebodys mindset to that extent with anything. But if you got dumped but you know your ex would consider a relationship with not just you but anyone if the chance opened up then i guess its worth a shot, theres a good chance it could work.

All these things are useless if the ex doesn't want you back. And it's a sorry excuse for becoming a real challenge. Real confidence is the key to getting your ex back. None of these internet salesman can give you the confidence.
Xestenz Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Not specific enough. What are the key ideas of texting your ex back? It is actually an interesting program that seems built on real psychology. He proposes that texts are a good platform for re-instating conversation because they are something like 'trojan horses' that simply pop up and plant a seed. You can also take your time in crafting them thus avoiding in-the-moment mistakes. He makes a point at the outset that isn't often said and that makes the whole thing ring as authentic to me -- that once over the old relationship is dead and will never come back -- BUT, in a way, this is a good thing, because it clears the way for a new relationship that fixes the issues that doomed the old one. He also says that you should really consider and understand what broke you up in the first place, and think long and hard about if you actually want to get back into a relationship with this person. The program maps out a step by step plan that stipulates no contact for at least 30 days. You then make initial contact with innocuous 'across the bow' texts that don't demand anything. He prescribes actions based on the type of response you get -- positive, negative, or no response. You then move on to texts that remind them of the good times together and start to bring them back to the you that they loved and trusted. From there, it moves to boosting intimacy with inside jokes and references to romantic or intimate experiences you shared together. Next step is to kick start new attraction by subtle use of jealousy. This is followed by moving back to honesty and communication about feelings -- something that you would never do at the outset as it would drive them away. He offers tips on then seducing your ex in a way similar to what got you two together in the first place. The whole goal of this is really to rebuild the perception your ex has of you as a romantic partner and re-ignite attraction -- nothing more and nothing less. Since I don't really care about getting back with my ex that much, I thought about trying this out just as an experiment -- but I'm a good guy and in many ways it would be mean to intrude on her life like that without the right intentions... 2
ThatJustHappened Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 I have read it..haven't tried it. It's very transparent and manipulative. I don't recommend it.
