AlexfromBoston Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Hey all, I just wanted to give a quick word of encouragement to those who have gone through a devastating breakup. Despite how you may feel now, life is not over and things WILL pan out eventually, trust me. I have been through countless breakups and I can honestly say, with the right approach, 70-80%(the ones I didn't cheat on) of ex's do come back around eventually. It's all in the way you handle it. If you handle the breakup with dignity and with confidence, there is a strong likelyhood that your ex will eventually make contact with you again. Remember, if you're a good guy/girl, your ex will not forget that. Just play it cool and let the breakup run it's course...you will see. I am no relationship expert but I would venture to say that I have been dumped more than most people on this board(Shamefully I admit, I am a player) and after each break, I find a girl that was even better than my previous girlfriend. It's like a constant upgrade for me as if I were just leasing women. Hell, it took Indy two sequels until he located the Holy Grail, and he was a history whiz. Once you get the word, take a deep breath and think, "she'll be back eventually". And then carry on your life as if she just made the worst decision of her life. Move on, meet women and understand that if she really cares, she will contact you again. A breakup wont kill you and essentially you have one of two options: She either A. returns to you or B. you find an upgrade. Not too bad right?
