EM99 Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Is it true that guys like it when their gf's get hit on in bars? I ask because I used to get hit on all the time, I still do but not as much cause I go out with younger friends that are honestly prettier and all, so they are the ones getting hit on now. And my bf sees that and I feel he may think, well why arent they hitting on my gf anymore? And it makes me feel ugly. I know I am not, and when he is not around they do hit on me, but I feel it is getting to him. Does it really matter to guys, or am I overthinking this? Thanks!

Not unless your bf likes getting into confrontations/fights with guys... 1
MrCastle Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 I don't want guys checking out my chick if we're at a bar. Alcohol brings the nasty out of some people and the last thing I need is an altercation because some drunk idiot crossed the line. 1
Author EM99 Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 Thats the way I look at it. I just dont want my bf thinking any less of me because I am not the one getting hit on. And yes I am jealous that my friends are, I am big enough to admit that But I am also ok with it. I just hope my bf is. I do not want him losing interest in me or worse going for one of my friends! We are to get married next month, and I know him well enough to know he would not do that, I just dont want him to lose interest in me already ya know.
Marina81 Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 I think jealousy is natural. My ex didn't care if anyone noticed me, or at least he didn't show it. Take it as a compliment
Lauriebell82 Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 I don't think my husband would be too happy if a guy was to hit on me. My best friend's husband on the other hand says he is flattered when guys hit on her, he knows she isn't going to do anything with them, but he's proud to have such a hot wife. I guess it depends on the guy.
