Hello everyone,

I badly need some advice.

My ex dumped me 1&1/2 years back, for being too needy and always wanting to spend time with her. I agree, it was my mistake. But, never felt i deserved to get dumped. After break up, sent her an apology letter, but never got any reply. It was hard for me to forget her and move on, but i did. Many times, i used to look back, and miss her. Also, never thought i would hear back from her.

After 18 months, i get an apology letter from her, saying she was sorry for being insensitve towards my feelings, and she just wanted to apologize. She confessed that she had personal/emotional issues, and was really sorry.

The part i am confused - is she is just aplogizing or missing me. I mean why would she write me a letter after 18 months? Please help!

Could be both...missing you and she's sorry. Thats strange that she waited so long to do it though.

Dude, move on...

18 months of regrets is really too much to bear.

How long were you together before she realized you were the needy type?

If you say less then six months then you have some real issues to address - you might want to seek some professional advice. Good mental health is pretty much essential for anyone to navigate the landmine world of relationships.

If you say more than six months then your ex has some serious issues of her own and you don't want to go back down that road...

Chalk this up to experience. Move on.

Thanks. We were together for 2 months.

You are right, learn from mistakes, and move on.
