Both an ex of mine, and my ex- MIL (not that ex's mother) were Scorpios - both left me emotionally smarting at their inherent attitudes.... I have a couple of really good Scorpio buddies, and I know what they're like, so I know what to expect (true to form!) but I'd rather not date a Scorpio - if I were dating. sorry. 2

Much roller coaster, drama, and grief. But like I said, I blame it more on his issues than the stars involved. Who knows though!

They have an air of mystique and wisdom that I don't find in a lot of others (depending on other areas of their chart of course). They are also bloody sexy

I will not under any circumstances date the 3 fire signs or 3 air signs. they are too extreme for me. I need stability. but there were exceptions. I do make sure to read the profile to see iof there is some kind of compatibility. I prefer Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo, Libra, Cancer, & Pisces and in that order.

The best bets for me seem to be Sags and Cancers. All I know is I have no luck with Leos. Physical attraction, sure, but I have not meshed with a single leo I've ever met. I am a textbook scorpio. Intense, passionate, mysterious, bold, creative...loyal if you prove to me you deserve it. At the same time I can be vindictive. I've never reconciled with anyone who ever wronged me. If you made me drop my ice cream cone at 4 years old, I remember you. I don't forget, I don't forgive, I don't let bygones be bygones, you wrong me, and I'm done with you. It's not even something I feel I can control. I do wish sometimes I could forgive others and move on, but my memory won't allow me. You'll always have that marking on you, and it's hard for me to look past it. I do think though, my positives outweigh the negatives. Free will obviously trumps all, and nobody is completely compatible with another going by astrology. There is something to it though. 1

Yeah but for every example you have of someone matching their sign, I'm sure there are examples of people who are the opposite of what their sign says they should be. I don't think there's any real correlation. I think you're looking for a correlation, so you find one. EDIT - Not trying to derail the thread, sorry!

It's not really fact, much less theory akin to numerology and tarot. But it's more complicated than just the 12 signs. Everyone has a unique personality set that can be traced by the position of the planets on a circular chart that has 12 houses, each house representing a facet of ones whole being. Each house is governed by a sign. The signs you know of are the Sun signs, but there are also Moon signs, Rising signs, Mars signs etc..... There's more but it's a lot to type in one post . I find that it is quite accurate when using charts to identify parts of someone's personality and using it for compatibility as well (synastry charts). But, as always, free will is still the precursor to it all. The astrological stuff is merely an indicator of what is likely, rather than what is. 1

I had a 2 year relationship with a 52YO professional astrologist/numerologist/tarot reader. I was very skeptical of the mystical world. Im very skeptical by nature and a bit of pessimist. I dont believe it till I see it. but she was so accurate in things she said time over time, I could not believe it. she's not a future teller, thats different and includes alot of grey smoke.. as far as zodiac traits are concerned, those I dated all had multiple traits of their zodiac sign. some less, some more. thats why I dont date the air/fire signs. they all have that something of that sign that deters me. but mostly its they are not stable. their space cadets or they need change and space all the time. not for me.
